``ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ನಾಟಕ ರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಸ್ತಿನಿಂದ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಿ ನೀವು ರಂಗಭೂಮಿಯ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಿಮಗೆ ದೊರೆತ ತರಬೇತಿಯನ್ನು ಇತರರಿಗೂ ನೀಡಿ. ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಬು ಬರಬಾರದು. ಇದರಿಂದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಕುಂಠಿತವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಕಲಾಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಿತಾಗಲಿ.’’ ಎಂದು ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ರಂಗಕರ್ಮಿ ಜಾಸ್ಮಿನ್ ವಾಸ್ ನುಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಶಕ್ತಿನಗರದ ಕಲಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ 14-07-2024 ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ಕಲಾಕುಲ್ ನಾಟಕ ರೆಪರ್ಟರಿಯ ಡಿಪ್ಲೋಮಾ ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.

ಡಾರ್ವಿನ್‌ ಆಲ್ವಾರಿಸ್‌ ವಾಮಂಜೂರು, ಜೊಯ್ಸನ್‌ ಡಿಸೋಜ ತಲಪಾಡಿ, ವರ್ಷಿತಾ ಫ್ಲೊರಾ ಕುಲ್ಶೇಕರ, ವೆನಿಶಾ ಸಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹಾ ಗುರುಪುರ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿನ್ಸನ್‌ ಮತಾಯಸ್‌ ಕಿರೆಂ ಇವರು ವರ್ಷದ ರಂಗ ತರಬೇತಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಡಿಪ್ಲೋಮಾ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.

ವೆನಿಶಾ ಸಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹಾ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಕಲಾಕುಲ್‌ ಆಡಳಿತದಾರ ಅರುಣ್‌ ರಾಜ್‌ ರೊಡ್ರಿಗಸ್ ಕಲಾಕುಲ್ ಆರಂಭ ಹಾಗೂ ನಡೆದು ಬಂದ ಬಗೆಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಲಾಕುಲ್ ಮಾಂಡ್ ಸೊಭಾಣ್ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ ಕೊಂಕಣಿಯ ಏಕೈಕ ನಾಟಕ ರೆಪರ್ಟರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕಳೆದ 14 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನೂರಾರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಭತ್ತೆಯೊಡನೆ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. 58 ನಾಟಕಗಳ ನೂರಾರು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ದೇಶ ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿವೆ. ಕಲಾಕುಲ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ದೇಶವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಂಗಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಂಚುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎನ್ ಎಸ್ ಡಿ, ನೀನಾಸಂ, ರಂಗಾಯಣದಂತಹ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಟಿತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದೇ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ನಿಂದ ಡಾ ಗಂಗೂಬಾಯಿ ಹಾನಗಲ್ ಸಂಗೀತ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಕಲೆಗಳ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಿಂದ ನಾಟಕ ಡಿಪ್ಲೋಮಾ ನೀಡಲು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಶುಲ್ಕ ವಿನಾಯತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಸ್ಟೆಲ್ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಇದೆ ಇದರ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವನ್ನು ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಪಿಯುಸಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿರುವ ರಂಗಾಸಕ್ತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ತರಬೇತುದಾರರನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಾಂಡ್‌ ಸೊಭಾಣ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಎರಿಕ್‌ ಒಝೇರಿಯೊ, ಲುವಿ ಜೆ. ಪಿಂಟೊ ಮತ್ತು ಐರಿನ್‌ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೊ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಸಂದೀಪ್ ಮಸ್ಕರೇನ್ಹಸ್ ಸಭಾ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಸುಂದರ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಕಲಾಕುಲ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ರಂಗಭೂಮಿಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ. ರಂಗಭೂಮಿಯ ವಿವಿಧ ವಸ್ತು ವಿಷಯಗಳಾದ ರಂಗಪಠ್ಯ ತಯಾರಿ, ವಾಚನ, ಭಾಷಾ ಶುದ್ಧಿ, ವಸ್ತ್ರ, ಮುಖವರ್ಣಿಕೆ, ಮೇಕಪ್, ವೇದಿಕೆ, ಬೆಳಕು, ಧ್ವನಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಲಿಯಲು ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮುಖಂಡತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಿ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ರೂಮ್ ಪ್ರೊಡಕ್ಷನ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಚೆಕೊವ್ ಟು ಶಾಂಪೇಯ್ನ್, ತೆವ್ಳೆ ನಾಟ್ಕುಳೆ, ಸಾತ್ವೊ ಉಪಾದೆಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಐಸಿಯು ಈ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ನಾಟಕಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಐದು ತರಗತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗಳು ನಡೆದಿವೆ. ಈ ಸಾಲಿನ ಕಲಾಕುಲ್ ಸಹ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕತ್ವವನ್ನು ನೆಲ್ಸನ್‌ ರೊಡ್ರಿಕ್ಸ್‌ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬ, ದುಬಾಯ್ ಇವರು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

Kalakul Graduation Ceremony

"Utilizing the opportunity in Konkani Theatre and through disciplined practices, you've earned this Theatre Diploma. Share the knowledge and experience with others. Artistes shouldn't be high on ego. That'll hinder the progress of both the Artiste and the Art. May Konkani Art grow through you", were the well-wishing words of Thespian Jasmine Vas at the Graduation Ceremony of Kalakul Theatre Repertory, held at Kalaangann, Shaktinagar on 14th July 2024.

Having completed a year's training at the Repertory, Darvin Alwaris Vamanjoor, Joyson Dsouza Talapady, Varshita Flora Kulshekar, Venisha Saldanha Gurupura and Vinson Mathias Kirem received the Kalakul Diploma and spoke of their learning experiences.

Venisha Saldanha presented the Annual Report. Kalakul Administrator Arunraj Rodrigues gave a glimpse of the Birth and Growth of Kalakul Theatre Repertory. Started by Mandd Sobhann, Kalakul - the only Theatre Repertory in Konkani, has trained hundreds of Artistes with stipend in the last 14 years. It has staged hundreds of shows of over 58 plays across India and Internationally. Kalakul Alumni are shining in Theatre activities globally. With the help of training received at Kalakul, Many have later joined prominent theatre institutions like NSD, Neenasam and Rangayana. Starting this August, Theatre Diploma will be conferred in affiliation with Dr Gangubai Hanagal Music and Performing Arts University. Fee concession and Hostel Facility will also be provided. Theatre Enthusiasts who have completed 2nd PU are eligible to apply.

At the Ceremony, Trainers and Others who lent their helping hand were honoured. Eric Ozario, Louis J Pinto and Irine Rebello of Mandd Sobhann were present on stage. Sandeep Mascarenhas Kalakul decored the stage.

Kalakul Trainees get to learn about the history of World Theatre. They are taught different aspects of theatre like Text Preparation, Reading, Speech Clarity, Costumes, Masks, Make-up, Stage, Settings, Lights, Sound, Direction, etc. Trainees take lead in putting up classroom productions. This year, 4 Major Productions - Chekov to Champagne, Tevlle Natkule, Satvo Upades, ICU and 5 Classroom Productions have been produced and staged. This year's Kalakul was co-sponsored by Mr Nelson Rodricks and Family, Dubai.
